1. mangalore coastal installation (mci) caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. mci has 13 a/g product tanks and 3 water tanks which include external floating roof tanks and fixed cone roof tanks. as per oisd 129, all tanks must be ut tested every 3 years. since ut testing of 16 tanks is due, it is proposed to do the same as a prive maintenance measure. this will also maintain the overall health of the facility in line with the bpcl policy and procedures.

Mangalore coastal installation (mci) is a bpcl pol location on the western coast of india in the outskirts of mangalore city. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. this location is adequately illuminated as per oisd norms and bpcl guidelines in most areas. however a need for more lux levels was observed during the esa audit held at bpcl mci in license area near tank farm. as part of the infrastructure maintenance and safety enhancement initiatives, the supply of flp light fittings is deemed necessary. hence it is proposed to procure the same.

Mangalore coastal installation (mci) is a pol location, located very close to mangalore refinery and petrochemical limited. it takes product from mrpl and from ocean tanker, stores it into 13 distinguished tanks and sales through tank lorry. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. mci has roughly 5.5 km long product pipeline and 4 km long fire water pipeline of various sizes spread within 39 acres of land and few inside nmpt. as per oisd 130, all pipelines must be ut tested every 3 years. since ut testing of these pipelines are nearing due, it is proposed to do the same as a prive maintenance measure
