🛢️ Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (Bpcl) Is Seeking A Qualified Vendor For Ultrasonic Thickness (Ut) Testing Services At Mangalore Coastal Installation (Mci). 🚧💧 The Scope Of Work Includes The Ut Testing Of Product And Fire Water Pipelines To Ensure Compliance With Oisd 130 Standards. This Is A Preventive Maintenance Measure For The Pipelines, Which Are Critical For The Storage, Handling, And Distribution Of Petroleum Products Within The Mangalore Region. 📅 Submission Deadline: May 18, 2024, 00:00 Hours The Project Encompasses Approximately 5.5 Km Of Product Pipelines And 4 Km Of Fire Water Pipelines, Spread Across A 39 Acre Facility And Certain Areas Within The New Mangalore Port Trust (Nmpt). Bpcl Invites Tenders From Experienced Vendors With The Capability To Perform Ut Testing In Accordance With The Specified Standards And Regulations. There Is No Tender Fee Or Earnest Money Deposit (Emd) Required For Submission. Mci Caters To Different Sales Areas Of Mangalore Retail Territory, Gulbarga Territory, Calicut Territory, Rescue Loads To Belgaum Territory And I&C. Mci Has Roughly 5.5 Km Long Product Pipeline And 4 Km Long Fire Water Pipeline Of Various Sizes Spread Within 39 Acres Of Land And Few Inside Nmpt. As Per Oisd 130, All Pipelines Must Be Ut Tested Every 3 Years. Since Ut Testing Of These Pipelines Are Nearing Due, It Is Proposed To Do The Same As A Prive Maintenance Measure
