Canopy to pathway main gate and dcp stand
During the quarterly safety committees, there was a requirement of creating a canopy above the pathway in front of the main gate. this will enable security to do the frisking of all pedestrians approaching the main gate to the adbuilding. also, dfmd is also located in that area which needs to be covered for protection from rainfall. in addition to that one more suggestion was there to provide a stand for keeping fire extinguishers of the tank lorry while they are coming for loading.
Tender for replacemnet of sop boards at bangalore lpg plant
Bangalore lpg plant is having tank lorry gantry, lpg cylinder filling shed, loading shed, msvs, pump and compressor house and other utilities. standard operating procedures are displayed at each operational point. many of the sop were not d since commissioning. also, some operations were added in view of automation of the plant processes. this has been noted in the esa by oisd between 22nd and 24th july, recommendation no. 43. in view of this, comprehensive study was done at all operational points and s and additions required is noted. hence, sop boards needs to be replaced in the plant.
Ultrasonic thickness (ut) testing of product and fire water pipelines at mci
Mangalore coastal installation (mci) is a pol location, located very close to mangalore refinery and petrochemical limited. it takes product from mrpl and from ocean tanker, stores it into 13 distinguished tanks and sales through tank lorry. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. mci has roughly 5.5 km long product pipeline and 4 km long fire water pipeline of various sizes spread within 39 acres of land and few inside nmpt. as per oisd 130, all pipelines must be ut tested every 3 years. since ut testing of these pipelines are nearing due, it is proposed to do the same as a prive maintenance measure

This is a preventive maintenance measure for the pipelines, which are critical for the storage, handling, and distribution of petroleum products within the Mangalore region. π Submission Deadline: May 18, 2024, 00:00 Hours The project encompasses approximately 5.5 km of product pipelines and 4 km of fire water pipelines, spread across a 39-acre facility and certain areas within the New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT). Bpcl mangalore installation have 8 bay tlf gantry with 16 flow meters, tank lorry calibration facility (calibration tower having 3 tanks with capacities of 1000l, 1000l and 500l) and prover vessel (1 no. 2000l) for which calibration is to be verified and stamped through the state legal metrology department. this is a specialized job which needs close coordination with legal metrology department to avoid any type of down time of our flow meters and calibration tower, which may impact tt loading operations. to carry out this job we need to engage a local vendor who is well versed with the local authorities and having good reputation with them. to get the competitive bid for subject job, we propose to float limited tender to the locally available bidders who are doing similar kind of works in mangalore
