Frequently asked questions
What size table suits one computer user?
A desk of about 1200 mm by 600 mm works for a single monitor and some paperwork. Choose 1500 mm or more where two screens are used.
How big should a conference table be?
Allow about 60 to 70 cm of table edge per person, plus clear space of about one metre behind chairs. A table for eight is often about 2400 mm long.
Is a laminate top durable?
Good-quality laminate on thick board resists scratches and stains, but check for sealed edges so moisture does not enter.
