Mangalore coastal installation (mci) located at baikampady, near apmc yard, mangalore of karnataka. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. mci is the first certified nano location on 30.09.2014, has 08 bay top loading tlf for dispatches & maintains 100 percent nano consistently. mci being a coastal location is receiving rainfall for more than 6 months per year. mci has 13 above ground tanks inside 4 impervious dykes. due to heavy rains, there is high vegetation growth on dyke walls which ually will affect the imperviousness and overall strength of the dyke. view above it is proposed to paint these so that imperviousness of the dyke is maintained. this will also maintain the overall health of the facility in an aesthetic manner in line with the bpcl policy and procedures.

Mangalore coastal installation (mci) is a bpcl pol location on the western coast of india in the outskirts of mangalore city. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. during annual external inspection of tanks, it was observed that water is getting stagnated on the annular plate of above ground vertical tanks. also gap is observed between tank foundation and annular plates at few places. this will lead to corrosion of annular plates and tank settlement if unattended. also the steps of mcc building which act as entry to transformer yards and dg room was found in a bad shape. this also needs to be corrected for better safety of the personals approaching the transformers and dg room. also fire water is replenished through submersible pump in natural pond within mci premises. it is not functional and require major overhauling. mci also has 2 nos of dfmd which is faulty and require ur

The bpcl pol mangalore coastal installation (mci) was commissioned in the year 2000 to serve the state of karnataka s expanding fuel needs. it draws on mrpl s product as well as product from ocean tankers at nmpt via cross-ry buried pipelines intended for ms, naphtha, and hsd. mci serves the several sales territories of gulbarga, calicut, rescue loads to belgaum, i&c, and the retail territory of mangalore. the first nano facility of bpcl, it features 13 a/g storage tanks with different capacities and is entirely automated. one highly skilled contract manpower is required to support on various office engineering, document and letter drafting, site supervision for various ongoing capex and revex related works, support on site measurements, qc checks, bill verification, maintenance scheduling and follow up, data input and analysis on ms excel and word and various other miscellaneous office support activities as directed by engineering in charge.
