As an observation from both esa and isa audits, it is recommended to have public addressing system to send message to workers who is inside the license area during emergency situations. current mode of communication among the staff present in the installation is vhf only, but every staff/contract staff can t carry vhf individually. during exigencies, it is difficult to communicate with the workers inside the license area of installation. this can be addressed by installing flp speakers inside at certain points and configuring this speaker into the existing base station, so that by changing the channel in vhf set, it will be able to communicate through the speakers.view above it is planned to install a pa system inside license area to enhance the communication especially during emergency situations at bpcl mci.
