Drilling, excavation, loading, transportation, dumping, spreading and levelling, etc., of 219.120 lbcm of in-situ ob (which includes 185.745 lbcm of hard ob, 33.375 lbcm of coal), and re-handling of 7.550 lcm of top soil with conventional equipment, and additional works viz., 4000 shovel hours, 2000 dozer hours and 50,000 rmt of drilling at kistaram opencast project, sathupally area during a period of 24 months.

Mci being a coastal location is receiving rainfall for more than 6 months per year. during the latest inspection of the earth pits, it was noted that the reading for some earth pits was significantly high and needs to be reconditioned. additionally, testing of the transformer oil is also pending. due to severe weather conditions, several flp and non-flp fittings need to be replaced. furthermore, during the recent servicing of the hvlr, it was observed that the hvlr cables and glands require both replacement and repairs. therefore, we propose to carry out these various electrical tasks.

One of the esa audit observations was that the static earthing should be provided at tlf gantry independently, for that electrical connections need to be done by laying earth strips from gantry to respective earth pits made nearby gantry area. also earthing of la need to do, by laying earth strips to the respective earth pits made nearby gantry area. next audit observation was that earthing needs to be provided for all the motors and push button stations of 4 ows in the plant. it involves laying, connecting earth strips to earth pits. other esa audit observation was to have separate audio-visual alarm for hcds and dyke drain valve, which includes installing hooters in each dyke by laying cables from the nearest jb to the hooter

1. mangalore coastal installation (mci) supplies ms, hsd to 4 districts of karnataka and kerala. mci is a fully automated location having terminal automation system of m/s honeywell. these tas equipment being critical are fed through ups power. to support the operations, we are having two ups of 15kva capacity each. currently it is not covered under any maintenance contract. sudden breakdown of ups will disrupt entire loading operation. 2. to have regular specialized maintenance and high availability, oem service including comprehensive amc is required to be in place.

Concertina fence replacement at bpcl mci currently at mci, the concertina fencing installed along the boundary wall of mci from licensed gate to fire pump house on north side and license gate to main gate on the south side has deteriorated significantly and s visible signs of rust and wear. the current condition affects the overall appearance and security of the premises. through this tender process, we intend to procure and install new concertina fencing to replace the existing old and rusted sections.

Out of the 14 aboveground product tanks, 09 aboveground vertical storage tanks and 02 horizontal product storage tanks are provided with honeywell enraf make radar level transmitters. multi-spot temperature cum water bottom sensors, tank side indicators, communication interface units (cius) and tfms computer are also part of radar level transmitter system. since radar gauges are primary level instrument for calculation of product inventory and are also supercritical interlock instrument, it is required to maintain high level of availability of the instrument. 3. these instruments are critical in operational and safety requirements. also, these instruments require high skill for maintenance and troubleshooting, it is prudent to have its service annual maintenance contract with the oem i.e. m/s. honeywell as a prive maintenance measure. this will also maintain the overall remote operability of the facility in line with the bpcl policy and procedures.

Bpcl mci has 3 km long compound wall to safeguard its assets from external intrusion. the compound wall is fitted with concertina fencing of 450mm dia. during the last esa audit, a small portion of this concertina fence section was replaced based on their observation. however, some more portion of concertina fence are highly corroded and damaged and needs replacement. replacement of the damaged concertina fence is required to ensure the safety and security of the facilities and avoid external intrusion. 3. through this tender, we intend to replace concertina fencing in damaged areas along the northern boundary of the location
