At barauni top, there has been a leak from the underground firewater pipeline near the air compressor shed which affected operations drastically. attached . although the issue has been resolved for the time being but to provide a sustainable and long-term solution, it is proposed to replace the existing underground pipeline with an above-ground system. ease of maintenance: above-ground systems facilitate routine inspection and maintenance, minimizing downtime and operational challenges

(i) in ennore coastal installation (eci), the roof plates of tank no: 01, 02 & 03 are badly corroded. the original fire red color of fire engines and fire water pipelines also got faded and rust scales have ed to appear. continuous corrosion like this can lead to the formation of holes in the pipeline/tank and ually cause the medium inside the pipeline to leak outside.
