Mangalore coastal installation (mci) located at baikampady, near apmc yard, mangalore of karnataka. mci caters to different sales areas of mangalore retail territory, gulbarga territory, calicut territory, rescue loads to belgaum territory and i&c. mci is the first certified nano location on 30.09.2014, has 08 bay top loading tlf for dispatches & maintains 100 percent nano consistently. mci being a coastal location is receiving rainfall for more than 6 months per year. 2. tank t-106 was cleaned due to which 1800 litres (3060 kg) sludge is declared. location also has old declared sludge of 4000 litres (6800 kg). hence the total sludge available at the location is 5800 litres (9860 kg). as per kspcb norms this must be disposed of. 3. through this tender, we intend to dispose of this oily sludge generated at bpcl mci.
